Senior Support Worker -Late/Evening Shifts
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care, supporting individuals to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion. You will also take on a senior role within the team, helping to guide and support colleagues, contribute to care planning, medication administration and ensure excellent standards of care are maintained.
Hours:
Flexible shifts available between 14:00 and 22:00. We are happy to discuss working patterns to suit your availability.
About You:
Caring, patient, and empathetic with a passion for supporting people with learning disabilities
Strong communication and leadership skills
Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) required
Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities essential

Wellbeing Assistant
Swallowcourt is looking for dedicated staff to assist the people we care for to enjoy a nutritious and unhurried mealtime experience, support with their wellbeing needs and preparation for the day ahead. This specifically includes:
· To support residents to eat their meals in a person-centred approach
· To support residents to use the bathroom.
· To support with the moving and handling needs of the residents.
· To have meaningful interactions with the residents cared for.
· To ensure that the area is clean, tidy and free from hazards.
· To advise the chef of the number of residents at breakfast and lunch time and also any requirement for meals to be taken to individual rooms.
· To transfer meals from the kitchen area to the dining room and serve to residents in a polite and friendly manner.
· To clear down the dining room following a service ensuring that all dirty cutlery, plates and glasses are taken into the kitchen for cleaning.
· Advise care staff wherever appropriate in any changes to residents tastes, preferences or appetite.
· To report any complaints to the Registered Manager and/or the Head Chef as appropriate.
· To support with beverages throughout the duration of the shift.
· Any other duties as reasonably expected.
